happy.

This weekend was mad busy and tonight is no better! I had two photo sessions today and one almost everyday this week (If weather doesn't mess it up)

So I am going to be dialed in on photoshop for the rest of the evening going through hundreds of pictures. But before I get into work I took a moment to edit a personal photo.

This was taken last night after my sister's graduation party. It's not a planned photo. It's us though. Cain watching television, wiped from a long day of hard yard work labor that he did for the party. And me on his lap... just happy to be with him.

Today I was thinking how much I wished we were already married and wished I could go home with him. Then I remember this time last year he wasn't even around for me to see on the weekends. He was states away at AIT. And I thought,"if I can go 7 months with only seeing him 3 times for a few hours... I can go 5 more weeks (WITH seeing him) being engaged!"

To be his wife will my an amazing feeling.

I am so happy to have this man.

Alright, personal time over ;)

Easter 2014

It was just this time last year that Cain was in TX at AIT. I was missing him dearly but we kept our spirits high knowing that the next year we would be together spending Easter with family.

And that's just what we did! Yesterday we made the trip to Cincinnati to spend the day with Cain's dad his wife and siblings! Even though we were there only for a few hours it was spent having a great time talking and playing some video games :)

This morning I woke knowing Cain was in the next room, I was so happy. I am so blessed this year to have my whole family together for a special day.

I am also so happy to be with my parents on these special days. Aren't they a good looking couple? I am so honored to have them as my parents and best friends.

We went to Church where Cain's Mom and Matt met us! Toni is a huge blessing in our lives. An amazing support and true friend. We are blessed!

This was Emma's first Easter and I'm so happy we got to spend the afternoon with her!

HELLLOOO.... can she get ANY CUTER!??!

Meet perfect.

So as you can see we had a great Easter of 2014 and who knows what next year will bring to be honest. But what I know is to be thankful for who and what you have in your live each and every year and to always treasure these happy moments together.

Yard work day 1

Today was a great day outside! I was so happy to walk out with some gym shorts and a hoodie and not be freezing! This has been a long awaited moment! Now it didn't last long, I ended up changing into some sweats before leaving to baby sit! But hey, it's a start!

So with the Wedding coming up in just 43 days it's time to get some yard work going!

Because of all the rain/snow we got the last month made things a little bit more of a mess then normal. The acorns were out of control!

out. of. control!

But thankfully Cain is a great groom and started getting things back in order. Along with Landon who was so kind to help us! Yes, us... I was out there too! After I took some pictures that is :)

Nova gets pretty scared at about everything. This is her hiding behind the tree.

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine.. .you make me happy when skies are gray... :)

Soaking up the sun.

I have been babysitting all afternoon and evening but should be able to head home shortly. I wish I could have spent more time today helping the boys but I know there is a lot of other wedding things that I've done that Cain hasn't been able to help with due to his school hours. But honestly Cain has been the best of help. I run every little thing by him and he always has great input and ideas. I couldn't of done this planning without him!

My mom also has been a great support! We all went over the list of "things to do" and it's so short we were so excited! We have so many people helping us that it's taken most of if not all the load off of us. Could not be more happy with all the support! It's nice to know people want to make our day special by lending a hand.

Though I wish the next 43 days were already gone.... I've enjoyed these months preparing for the Wedding and I have loved the engagement stage :) But don't get me wrong, I can't wait to be married!

Graci gives bath to Nova

Graci is a big help around the house when she is here. There is nothing I could ask her that she wouldn't do, or try to do! When my dad is around he will ask her to help with yard work. She jumps up and runs out with him to help!

Well Nova had gotten a bit muddy and without me having to even ask (Because I wouldn't of thought to ask) Graci said she would give Nova the bath.

Graci has seen me do this before and Nova listens very well so when I saw Graci go into the bathroom and say "Nova got muddy I'm giving her a bath" I knew that she could handle it. I grabbed my camera and watched her do her thing.

These two together just gets sweeter and sweeter. I'm not sure how Nova will do once Graci is at school this fall... let alone how I'll do!

She is the biggest blessing a person could have asked for in life.

Kalvin | Kiddo's

I was so excited when Holly messaged me about having Kalvin's pictures taken!

Kal was a trooper through the whole session. He was being such a big boy sitting in the chair all my him self, of course with mom close by! Enjoy these pictures and remember all of April, kid's pictures are 50% off!

wrap up the week.

Another week flew by! We are now at 7 weeks to go until our special day!

Cain is at Drill this weekend so I am trying to get as much done as I can! I know that the next couple weeks are going to be extremely busy so the things I can get done in the weekend leaves little time for any relaxing. Here is a look into what all went down this past week...

This picture sups up what Graci loves most about my house haha. Just chilling on the van sits that are in our kitchen right now!

So I've had this surprise up my sleeve for quite some time but had to keep it on the down low that way Cain didn't know what was going on! Cain has been wanting to get his bike new tires, breaks and a tune up since the end of riding season last year! I told him we would start saving up for it and once we had the money we could take it in to the shop! Well I lead him on to think we didn't have the money saved yet when I actually had the money saved for quite some time!! I called the shop and set up a day to take the bike in without Cain knowing! He kept bringing up the bike though and I knew how bad he wanted to get it fixed. So I told him to just call the shop and get a day set to bring in the bike and we would take money out of savings to get it fixed!

Before he called the shop I called and let the lady know what was going on and that he would be calling and to make a fake appointment! He called and set up the appointment and it wasn't until another 3 weeks from now! Little did he know he would have the bike in just a few days :)

Thanks to my dad we loaded up the bike without Cain's help! I was little nervous about that part but it all went smoothly! This was on Monday, I will talk about Cain getting the surprise here in a minute :)

Nova is really enjoying the warm weather we have been blessed with lately! This is a normal drive with her. And don't worry... I can lock my windows... she won't get chocked!

On Wednesday Cain had the honor to be apart of a Military viewing. A man in his Unit passed away over the weekend and Cain was asked to take part by standing at the head of the casket.  Of course Cain was honored to do so. That morning before he had to leave I went over to the apartment and made him breakfast and mastered my lint rolling skills. As an soon to be Army wife it's a must know how! No spots, lose strings, dust or nova hair allowed on the uniform!

I took this before he needed to walk out. We have the American flag behind our couch inside the apartment. It was perfect for this shot!

Saying our goodbyes! Telling him before leaving how handsome he is :)

Seeing how I will be moving out in a month I have been going through all my things in the house. I found these while doing so... I was/am a HUGE LOST fan! HUGE.

She likes nothing more then to lay on my lap while I drive.

Or on Graci's sit.

Thursday was a GREAT DAY! First off I got a call that my ring was back!!! Without telling Cain I went ahead and got it without him. Once I was with him I said "Guess who put a ring on it" He took a couple guesses and I said nope to all... then he started asking more questions trying to guess who got engaged. I said "I didn't say anything about getting engaged... just put a ring on it" Finally after another couple tries he yelled "YOUR RING!" We both laughed and were pretty excited about the whole thing! I love my ring and happy it's back on my finger!

Also on Thursday I was taking Cain to get his bike! I met him at the apartment and he was outside waiting for me. I said "Get in the car!" I saw that he had shorts on so I ran inside without him and put his jeans in a bag so he wouldn't see. I took off to the shop where the bike was at. He had no clue where the shop was so it worked out good. But I got so excited before getting there I made him close his eyes!

Once we pulled in I made him keep his eyes closed and got him out of the car. I ran to the trunk of the car where I had his helmet and then handed it to him with his eyes still closed. He knew right away what was going on. He was shocked though! And I think it's funny that he said "How?" How was I able to do that. I laughed and was like "Babe, it's me. You're still asking "HOW?"?

Once home I got my first ride of the year! Loved it too :) My bike jacket came in the mail that night too so it all worked out perfectly!

I love that Cain has this bike for a lot of reasons. It's something he loves to do. And it saves money on gas. But it's something we love to do together. It's a past time for us. We love driving on country roads and spending that time together. I loved that I was able to save the money for it to get fixed so we could enjoy it this summer.

I never would have thought I would be riding on the back of a sports bike but I love it. I'm with Cain, why wouldn't I love it?! Anything with him is fun.

Now that the weekend is about over I will get to see Cain and we will be able to spend sometime together and get to ride the bike again this week. Unless it snows... which I heard might happen! Boo.
